We just happen to get lucky passing through and read reviews so we stopped for lunch. We had the brisket sandwich and pork sandwich. Both were VERY good, but the pork was better. The flavor! Yum. The slaw and potato salad were great, too. Don't let the exterior fool you. It's definitely worth the stop. Customer service was great. They were very friendly and sweet. I would definitely travel back for more of the pork.

Not a pleasant experience. The place was not terribly clean. The food was mediocre at best. I found my sliced brisket dry and difficult get down. The smoke ring such as it was I found to be deep and wide on the one side that had it. The location was... quaint. I recommend you stay out of the restroom especially if it's been a while since you had a tetanus shot. The staff is fantastic the owner and her daughter are lovely people. I really wanted to like this food. Portions are generous and the sides acceptable. All in all not my favorite and I cannot recommend the food. But as I said the staff is lovely.

My husband and I are on our way to Colorado and read the reviews so we stopped for lunch. It is VERY good BBQ with friendly customer service. Will stop again for sure!!

What a great place. Not really a lot of tables to sit at but the serves was super. The meat is tender and delicious. Took some ribs Togo and the smell and taste were the best. Can't go to Texas without having BBQ and we found a great place. Little M even taught me how to morph into the pink power ranger. Thanks Little M. Update: The ribs made it back to Colorado as did we. They were devoured by 3 hungry boys and my husband. All I heard for a moment was mmmm. The sauce was perfect and fall off the bone meat with a great smoke taste. They let me have one rib out of the 2 pounds I brought back. Mic's wl be a return stop if we are do w that way again.
